Why he might be annoying
He had at least seven children out of wedlock.
His pissed off his main supporter, Richard 'The Kingmaker' Neville, who led a revolt that temporarily restored Henry VI.
He ordered the execution of his brother George, who was allegedly drowned in a cask of wine.
In his will, he named his brother Richard protector of his sons, which proved to be a bad decision.
He is one of the few rulers during the Wars of the Roses not to get his own Shakespeare play. (Instead, he appears at various points of Henry VI, Parts 2 and 3, and Richard III.)
Why he might not be annoying
He was a daring military commander who never lost a battle.
He restored law and order in England after a general breakdown during the reign of Henry VI.
He was the first English king from the House of York.
His daughter Elizabeth married King Henry VII, ending the Wars of the Roses.
